The Truth About Being Beautifully Flawed

Beautifully Flawed: Accepting your defects and choosing to embrace and live confidently in them

Most if not all people don't usually see their flaws as beauty. I know I didn't. To accept something about you that is unnormal is very unpleasant. For me it was hard to adjust to having psoriasis. Can you image your skin cells growing at a rapid pace which cause you to have scales all over your body? Don't forget the constant pain, dry skin, and having scales dropping off you as soon as you move. The self confidence level within myself was non existing and not to mention the judgement of other people when they saw my flaws.

But here is the truth about being beautifully flawed. Not giving a CARE about the judgement of others because they are flawed to, yours is just probably on display to see. Then dealing with your inner self to see the beauty in what once caused you to live in fear. Being beautifully flawed doesn't seem possible when you live in a society that put more emphasis on outer beauty than the beauty that is skin deep. But when you find that inner peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) loving all of you, flaws and all it gives you a chance to stop living in a invisible shield.
